Alexandria is accessible by three major airports in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area:

It is only ten minutes away from the Lorien Hotel & Spa by car, taxi, Uber, Lyft, or Metrorail.

It is just over 30 minutes from the Lorien Hotel & Spa, with nonstop service to over 80 domestic and 50 international destinations.

Is the Lorien Hotel & Spa pet-friendly?
We welcome pets of all shapes and sizes with a $40 per pet per night fee. If you need a bed or food bowl, just let us know. And if you’re looking for a grassy area, head to the nearby park at the end of Harvard Street. Turn left out of the hotel, right onto Harvard, and it’s only a block away.
What parking options are available?
The Lorien Hotel & Spa offers valet parking for $40 per night per vehicle. While we allow full in-and-out privileges, self-parking is not available. Please call the front desk by dialing 0 from your guest room phone at least 15 minutes before you would like your car and allow more time on weekends. Street parking in Alexandria is free on Sundays and holidays.
Do you have car chargers?
Yes. We have EC charging stations available on-site.
Are housekeeping services available?
In our ongoing efforts to care for our environment, complete daily room cleaning is available upon request only. Please call 4580 from your guest room phone to request daily housekeeping services. If you don’t require daily cleaning and are here for multiple days, we will provide full housekeeping after your third night.
What is the Lorien’s smoking policy?
We don’t judge, but we do fine $250 for a cleaning fee. Smoking is not permitted on the property – including in the outside courtyards or guest room balconies.
Does the Lorien Hotel & Spa offer dry cleaning services?
We don’t offer an in-house dry cleaning service, but there are many local dry cleaners within walking distance, including King Dry Cleaners and Custom Tailor Shop, Kingdom Dry Cleaners-Alterations, and Sabatino Cleaners and Alterations.
Do you offer accessible rooms?
Yes. We offer an accessible guest room and suite option — our King Hearing Accessible room and our Accessible Lorien Suite With Roll-In Shower.
Is there a restaurant on-site?
Yes. Our award-winning BRABO Brasserie and The Tasting Room offer an incredible atmosphere for guests and locals to enjoy European-inspired cooking, fabulous cocktails, or a glass of our select wine. See the menu or make a reservation at BRABO Brasserie here.
The Tasting Room is open for walk-in dining and does not accept reservations.
Can I order room service?
Room service is available during the same operating times as our on-site restaurants, BRABO Brasserie and The Tasting Room. Dial 4755 from your guest room phone to place an order.

Snacks and essentials are available for purchase in the lobby next to the front desk.
What are the Lorien Spa’s hours of operation?
The Lorien Spa is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 10:00am to 7:00pm on Thursdays through Sundays.
How do I book an appointment at the Lorien Spa?

Is there an on-site fitness center?
Yes. Our fully-equipped fitness center is open daily.

What’s the best way to get around Alexandria?
The Metrorail is the easiest way to get around Alexandria and is located just three blocks to the north when you leave the Lorien Hotel & Spa and turn left. Alexandria DASH Trolley has free service down and back to the Alexandria Wharf, and Water taxis are available to Georgetown Harbor and DC Wharf. We also have bicycles you can borrow to pedal around town (helmet and waiver required).
